New in MRO Tracker 2.2
This release adds an Engineering workspace for your technical services desk, engine data from Garmin and JPI logs, trip planning with airport info, Program Management and one mobile app in 5 flavors. See everything that's new →
Engineering workspace
Requests from the shop floor with "Ask engineering" on any task card, answered with a disposition and the approved data behind it. Repairs and alterations with a Form 337 filled from the record.
Engineering orders & library
Engineering orders signed and published as task card templates, a technical library with read-and-acknowledge, configuration status and inspection program changes.
Damage map
Mark dents, cracks and repairs on a diagram of the aircraft, with photos from the phone camera, so everyone sees the same history.
Engine data
Import Garmin and JPI logs into each aircraft's Flight Log: graphs, trends, limits per engine type, GAMI and mag checks, and a Flight Report PDF.
Trip planning & airport info
Routes with airways, a winds-aloft NavLog, fuel and a vertical profile, applied to the release. NOTAMs, weather, runway diagrams and FAA charts per airport.
Program Management
Programs, deliverables, risks and changes, with a WBS and baseline, earned value from shop-floor hours and review pack PDFs.
Maintenance overview
Home opens on what needs attention: overdue and due-soon items, open discrepancies, work orders and Engineering requests, and the aircraft that need you most.
One mobile app, 5 flavors
Coming soon for iPhone, iPad and Android: Admin, Pilot, Mechanic, Student and FAA, matched to each person's sign-in and role, working without signal.
Stores & purchasing
Stock by serial and batch, purchase orders with approval limits, receiving inspection, repairs, exchanges and consignment. Values post to QuickBooks.
Live flight tracking
Flight Following shows where each dispatched aircraft is, from Flightradar24: altitude, speed and ETA, or where it landed.
Safety management (Part 5)
Safety policy, risk register, investigations, management of change and safety indicators from hazard reports and FRATs.
Life-limited parts
Each part's life against the limit it reaches first, approved extensions, back-to-birth history, alerts before a limit and dispatch blocked at it.
One system instead of whiteboards, spreadsheets and paper tags
Most shops run maintenance in one tool, scheduling in another and crew records in a binder. MRO Tracker connects them, so the aircraft that is grounded in the hangar can't be dispatched on the flight board, and the pilot whose check has lapsed is flagged before the release is signed.
- Live aircraft status: available, in maintenance or AOG
- Digital sign-offs with a full audit trail
- Crew currency checked automatically at dispatch
- Parts, tools and requisitions tied to the work
- Your own branding, users and permissions per organization
- Work orders, hours and parts lines from your current system, kept up to date automatically
- A partner API and webhooks to connect the tools you already use
Built for the hangar and the flight desk
Plan it, do it, sign it off
Work orders, sub work orders and task cards with step-by-step sign-offs, QC and RII inspection, labor hours, parts and tool tracking, tagging and calibration, all feeding the aircraft's permanent record.
Schedule it, release it, fly it
Aircraft scheduling, flight releases, risk assessments, load manifests, crew readiness, flight following and AOG coordination, with the maintenance status of every aircraft always in view.

New in the mobile app
Works without signal New
Hangars and ramps are where signal drops. The app keeps working: what you have opened stays on the phone, and your work is saved there and sent in order as soon as signal returns.
- View saved flights, briefings, task cards, work orders and messages offline
- Squawks with photos, expenses, sign-offs with a drawn signature, clock in and out, tools and messages queue on the phone
- An outbox shows what is waiting, with Retry and Send now
- Each change is applied once, sign-offs are checked when they arrive, and clock times count from when you tapped

- METAR and TAF at departure, destination and alternates, with runway crosswind
- TFRs and NOTAMs for the route and time

- Amend a released flight: times, route, fuel, alternate or crew, with a reason and signature
- Approve amendments, close or cancel a release; cancelling frees the aircraft
- Dangerous goods (NOTOC) and last-minute changes on the load manifest, with a running weight total
- Required training checked with the crew at booking and release
Admin: Flights and calendar New
Every flight across the organizations a manager works in, or just their own, one switch away.

- Recorded flight times: adjust the hours, then approve to check the flight in
- Aircraft hours, landings, flight log and crew duty update on approval
- New messages pop up in the app, with the sender's photo
Airport weather & NOTAMs New
Check any airport without booking a flight, from My Flights in Pilot or Flights and Home in Admin.
- Type KJYO or JYO, or tap one of your last six airports

- A switch per item, with name, part number and weight at arm
- Running total of items, weight and arm
- Saving updates the weight & balance
- Equipment is set up per aircraft on the website
FAA app: sign-off New
Record your review of a major or minor classification, signed on the phone. Free, no account.
- Your name, certificate and a drawn signature
- Signed records lock; make an unsigned copy to change one
- The PDF carries the signature and a fingerprint of the record as signed

Do we need to install anything?
No. MRO Tracker runs in any modern web browser on desktop, tablet or phone. Native apps for iPhone, iPad and Android (MRO Tracker Pilot, Mechanic and Admin, plus the free MRO Tracker FAA) are coming soon and will sign in with the same account.
Does it work without a connection?
Yes. Screens you have opened before stay available on the device, and work you do offline (task card entries, discrepancies, photos and PIN sign-offs) is saved on the device and sent as soon as you are back online. If someone else changed the same record in the meantime, you choose which version to keep. A PIN signature made offline is confirmed with your PIN once you reconnect.
Can we use just Maintenance, or just Operations?
Yes. Features are switched on per organization, so you can start with the workspace you need and add the other later.
Can you bring over our existing records?
Yes. Work orders, task cards and parts lines come in as ordinary work orders that keep their original numbers, searchable by aircraft, work order and part number. If you keep running your current system for a while, MRO Tracker can stay in step with it automatically.
How are hours counted on a work order?
Hours worked are the technicians' clocked time on the work order's task cards plus any hours entered on its labor lines. A parent work order also shows a total that includes all of its sub work orders.
Can alerts come by text message?
Yes. Each person chooses email, text or both in their own preferences, and can send themselves a test text. If a text can't be delivered, the alert goes by email instead.
What does it cost?
MRO Tracker Light is $275 a year for up to 3 aircraft and 2 users, with a free 14-day trial. Larger fleets and repair stations are priced by what you use; see Pricing or ask us for a quote.
Who can see our data?
Only your organization's users, according to the roles you give them. Each organization's data is kept separate at the database level.
Does it replace our approved manuals?
No. MRO Tracker supports your recordkeeping and workflows. Your approved manuals, programs and the current regulations remain the authority.
